Conservative Twitter feeds and websites exploded with mirth Tuesday when Joe Biden appeared to fall asleep during a virtual town hall meeting with Hillary Clinton.

The livestreamed event was designed to highlight Mrs. Clinton’s endorsement of Mr. Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

During the event, Mr. Biden frequently cast his gaze down as if consulting notes. But at one point, Mr. Biden closed his eyes, put his head down, and remained motionless for some 15 seconds or more, video of the event shows.

Eventually, the 77-year-old candidate appeared to be startled awake, and he jerked his head up, eyes blinking.

Joe Biden fumbled the number of military members that died from the coronavirus during a campaign stop in Michigan on Wednesday.

The Democratic presidential candidate was in Warren, Mich. when he misspoke and said that over 6,000 U.S. military members have died from Covid-19.

The Biden campaign told Fox News that the former vice president cited the number of confirmed cases and deaths from COVID-19 in Michigan as being the numbers for the military, saying the armed forces had seen 118,984 cases and 6,114 deaths.

@恆智德 開頭嗰段"I learned"原來出自Biden2017年返去佢讀大學放暑假個陣嘅一個社區泳池演講（1962年佢係泳池唯一一個白人救生員，17年當地用佢個名來命名水上活動中心）

The summer of 1962 stretched out with possibility before 19-year-old Joe Biden, who was home from college in Wilmington, Del. Though it was the last of his teen years, he didn’t spend it carousing at the local bars, wandering the sands of Rehoboth Beach or driving to Atlantic City.

Instead, he took a job as a lifeguard at a city pool in hopes of learning more about the black community.

55 years later, the community has named the center housing the pool after the former vice president. The new sign on the side of the building reading the “Joseph R. Biden Jr. Aquatic Center” was unveiled Monday.
