廣告業新模式？大家點睇Basic Attention Token（BAT）?

簡單啲講，就係裝佢出嗰隻Brave Browser（Chromium-based，自帶adblock、https everywhere之類嘅plugins），用嘅時候可以揀睇browser入面嘅廣告賺BAT（ 你block咗人哋廣告再畀人睇廣告？），之後可以揀課金畀鍾意嘅網站或者youtube、github acc之類（ 前提係內容提供者有去註冊Brave creator， 睇下terms重要留ID登記）。

感覺好似對Youtube佢哋唔係好公道，如果人人都用BAT咪一分錢都收唔到？

好難去改變個瀏覽器市場。
chrome係有Google搜索引擎助力，加上IE太垃圾。
多數人係台機本身係乜就用乜，自己用開乜就用乜，好難有人會改行試新嘢。
噉嘅前提之下，我覺得佢哋對成個廣告市場嘅影響應該會好細。而家市場都已經變咗，以手機/tablet為主。

@姬嘉鐸我老婆 😂我睇咗下佢好似有ios/android版。其實chromium-based同chrome用起身應該冇咩區別。IE其實連M$都放棄咗，最近嗰個chromium核嘅edge其實幾好用下（ desktop browser睇netflix得佢上到4k，chrome、firefox都係得720p）。

Chrome整合Google有好有唔好，近年來其實越來越多人反感Google收集數據。

今時今日好多tech公司都靠網上廣告費唻生活，你要有廣告首先要有content provide。咁技倆就主要分為你自己出content（例如報紙，雜誌之類），或者你整個平台去吸引content provider集中（例如facebook, twitter, youtube..等等）

Brave Browser佢唔想整content，但想free ride其他www上嘅free content去賺錢。咁我嘅疑問係，本身啲資料都free架啦，我做乜鬼野比錢Brave Browser賺先？
Interesting idea，but business model doesn't work。

睇Brave個CEO Brendan Eich嘅履歷（因反同性婚姻落台之前係Mozilla大佬），會挖Google牆腳一啲都唔出奇。

而家Brave其實係Chrome最直接競爭者，近年越嚟越多嘅Google haters會揀佢。

其實就好似政府捉BT翻版會用honey pot tracker一樣，將潛在違法途徑控制喺一個可控範圍內比完全封殺要更加好。

比如Bitcoin係transparent blockchain，唔識嘅人以爲好安全直接攞嚟洗黑錢真係ip都唔使check

啲tech giant如果開始肆無忌憚咁爲咗奶共做言論審查，政府暗中扶持decentralized platform做低佢哋都唔出奇。

@親衛隊 Tor 嘅其中一個key contributor 係我同事（security expert一名）。BTW, 我自己好少用tor因為真係嫌佢有啲慢。。。

其實政府同學術界成日都有project，project還project，最後成果係咪真係可以廣泛應用咁哩個又要返去market同regulation問題。

facebook嘅libre過去兩年大手喺各大大學到挖blockchain expert幫佢哋整libre，佢地當初其實好有信心過到政府嗰關。然後學術界都開始setup好多libre related嘅research project。正當進行得如火如柴，美帝就收咗佢皮。你講嘅case唔係無可能發生，但技術生產嘅legal risk / regulator risk太高，好難有人敢進行大量投資喺類似技術上面（除非政府白紙黑字講明support）。

例如，中國政府都好支持中國式blockchain，仲試行緊用數字貨幣發工資。
